Welcome to my Portfolio blog section, where I share some of my projects that I worked on, plus some additional ones that I am still working at. I consider all my projects, including this portfolio one, a never-ending work, simply because there is always room for improvements, for upgrades, so in the future I will also add some additional articles on various technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and more. Explore and check my knowledge, see practical tips, and some in-depth discussions on for popular tech topics.
Please keep in mind that some of my projects are not yet completed, as I am still working on them, as I tend to be a perfectionist so that my work is done as flawless as possible, so I am eager to see each 100% done.
As a Webdeveloper I have three main rules when building websites and apps, or codding: 1 - clean, 2 - responsive, 3 - fast
The Home Electric Project came into mind on the necessity of helping my brother. Long-story-short: he works as an electrician, thus he needs to have a business going and must keep up with the present requirments, the technologies and customers. Wanting to know how he can achieve some great results he consulted with me about making this happen, the idea to build a website for his small business came quickly. Making it top priority for my self, I managed to build this website for him.
There was a great need for a presentation or something that can present my brother's top skills and products, the small business he has was lacking image and popularity, so he needed a way for the world to know him and check his skills, what he can offer. He wondered how can he make it possible to get more customers and how he can present his services and everything else that he has to offer.
Here are a just a few, of the many examples that I used to
build this project:
(understanding the problem and then disecting it into
smaller parts, using question metodology)
How will the website will be used or for what purpose ?
What to include and what not to include ?
What options are needed and what options are not needed ?
Is there a need for account creation ? If yes, create option / If no, create a basic submit form for contact
Is there a need for slider with feedback from customers? If Yes, create slider.
Make website clean, simple and fast but at the same time keep smooth navigation and full control, stick with "easy to use" principle.
The final result: a clean, fast and simple website that presents all that he has to offer. He just loved the idea right from the start so I got to work on this project and, altough is not 100% finished, most of the functionality is present.
